
Salma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimenez; September 2, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actress and film producer. She started her career in Mexico by playing a lead role in the television series Teresa (1989-1991) as and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she won an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were just some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's performance as Frida Kahlo painting artist in Frida (2002) the biographical feature she co-produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
