Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with her catchy electronic pop tunes "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice and talent for writing songs that are both catchy and emotional. She's akin to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians of the same ilk. Polydor Records offered her a deal as a major label. She started to plan for the release.
