Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by the shadows she observed on the ground and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months perfecting a technique that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions on canvas. Rather the subject is transformed into a reproduction of itself, where the surface becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially in the case of live or perishable objects, such as people or fruit. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the images of her work are preserved. Photography and painting techniques are tightly coordinated, resulting in a two-dimensional, flat space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain areas of the photo like hair and eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Meade often incorporates models painted into the environment around them. It allows them to interact with this world the artist has constructed. This way, the line between photography and painting is dissolved.
