Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1961) is an American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She has appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. Wiehl, who was born and raised in Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a tenured professor in law in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
